Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and participating in IEP meetings
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage a caseload across multiple sites
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations and assessments to students across the district
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement interventions
- Provide direct support and counseling to students individually and in groups
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, including the creation and review of IEPs and 504 plans
- Contribute to the development and delivery of staff professional development in areas related to mental health and behavioral interventions
- Support crisis management and response when needed
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
