Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology required
  • Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement (active license)
  • At least 2 years of school-based experience in a similar setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to core values and student-centered best practices
  • Proven ability to uphold confidentiality and maintain accurate records
  • Persistent, solution-focused approach to supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services to K-8 students, assessing and supporting academic and social-emotional needs
  • Participate as a valued member of SPED, 504, and MTSS teams to screen, identify, and evaluate students, ensuring full compliance with all regulations and timelines
  • Lead and consult on MTSS systems, oversee interventions, and progress monitor Tier 3 scholars
  • Prepare, present, and maintain timely documentation and reports; attend and contribute to IEP, 504, and other team meetings
  • Request and review external records as needed, and interface professionally with families, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Stay current on research, best practices, and tools; provide professional development as necessary
  • Serve as a liaison and expert on child development and disorders, sharing critical knowledge with educators and families
  • Ensure consistent, clear communication with all team members and parents

More details, including caseload specifics, will be shared during the interview process. The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, across two sites in the Chicago area.
