This full-time, contract-based position involves working across four high school campuses, providing essential services to a diverse SPED population of approximately 110-120 students. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (state requirements must be met)
- Master’s or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience providing assessments, interventions, and recommendations for students with diverse learning needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes, special education law, and best practices in counseling and consultation
- Strong communication, report-writing, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for the special education population
- Consult with educators, parents, and support staff to develop effective student interventions
- Contribute insights during IEP meetings; help design and monitor individualized plans
- Support crisis intervention, provide counseling services, and promote positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate records, deliver timely documentation, and support compliance with all regulatory guidelines
- Travel locally between four campuses to deliver ongoing onsite support
