Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with high school students
- Knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and crisis response in a school setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, faculty, and families
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload and maintain accurate records
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for high school students
- Provide counseling, consultation, and direct interventions to address academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Help develop and implement prevention and intervention strategies for students at risk
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to legal and ethical school psychology standards
