A school district in the Detroit area is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time contract opportunity during the 2026-2027 school year. This itinerant position supports elementary students across three school buildings and offers the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative school team.
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Full School Year
- 2026-2027 school year
- Itinerant position across 3 elementary school buildings
- Contract available until a direct hire is found
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
- Participate in and attend MTSS meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
- Support student intervention planning and progress monitoring
- Assist with crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate assessment documentation and compliance
Student Population:
- Elementary students
- Support across 3 school buildings
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan School Psychologist certification required
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
