Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in school settings highly preferred
- Deep understanding of child development, assessment tools, and interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage confidential information with the utmost professionalism
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and support the creation of appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to foster positive learning environments
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Offer consultation and training to school staff and families on academic and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
