- Active state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Experience or strong interest in working with high school students
- Familiarity with comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and report writing
- Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to design and implement evidence-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions
- Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and mental health needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop appropriate educational plans and supports
- Provide individual and group counseling services, promoting positive behaviors and emotional wellness
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute specialized expertise for student success
- Offer crisis intervention and support as necessary, fostering a safe and inclusive school environment
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for families, offering guidance on issues affecting students’ well-being
