Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) in New Jersey
- Proven experience with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interventions
- Strong understanding of special education processes, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and consult with educators, administrators, and parents
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to K-12 students across multiple district locations
- Participate actively in the IEP/504 process and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Consult with teachers and staff on effective instructional and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school psychology
