What we’re seeking:
- Licensed or certified School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification in Illinois)
- Previous experience in educational settings, ideally with diverse student populations
- Strong skills conducting student evaluations and assessments
- Knowledge and experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Team-oriented, collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Adaptability and calm decision-making for occasional crisis response situations
In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to educators, families, and MTSS teams
- Actively participate in MTSS meetings, offering expertise in intervention planning and student progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary staff to ensure student needs are identified and supported
- Address crisis situations as needed, providing immediate support and guidance
