Make an impact as a School Psychologist supporting students and staff within a vibrant elementary environment. This full-time contract position offers a unique opportunity to cover a maternity leave, with the strong possibility of an extension through the fall semester. You’ll have the chance to work closely with students and educators, providing expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention while collaborating as part of a dedicated team.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure for School Psychologists
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with elementary school populations preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a full range of students, staff, and families
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting and administrative requirements as needed
- Availability for a full-time schedule (approximately 35 hours weekly) between 8/31/2026 and 10/9/2026, with anticipated extension
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments and compile accurate psychoeducational reports
- Provide direct support through counseling, crisis intervention, and student assistance programs
- Participate in IEP meetings, serve as a resource for staff, and develop behavior intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Foster a positive and inclusive school climate focused on student wellbeing
- Meet all documentation and ethical requirements in a timely, professional manner
