Your background as a licensed School Psychologist in Minnesota (PELSB-issued) and commitment to evidence-based assessment, intervention, and mental health supports will be highly valued. You’ll collaborate with educators, students, and families, taking a proactive role within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, with a particular focus on K-12 populations.
Qualifications:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid Minnesota licensure as a School Psychologist (PELSB-issued)
- Strong track record of promoting equity and culturally responsive practices
- Expertise in school psychological assessments, intervention, and mental health supports
- (Preferred) National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or NCSP-eligible
- (Preferred) Experience with consultation and intervention support in MTSS
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and trust-building skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students K-12
- Provide evidence-based interventions and mental health support
- Consult and collaborate with staff, families, and administration in developing and implementing individualized education and behavioral plans
- Support school teams in crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention
- Offer leadership and training to educators, including support and facilitation for adult learners
- Ensure compliance with federal and state special education regulations
