Key Qualifications:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or equivalent
- Valid Minnesota school psychologist license issued by PELSB
- Commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive support for all students
- Proficiency in evidence-based approaches to assessment, intervention, and mental health supports
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities
Preferred Experience:
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility
- Previous service within an MTSS framework and consultative, problem-solving support
- Leadership and adult learner facilitation skills
- Expertise in crisis prevention, intervention, and related mental health frameworks
- In-depth familiarity with federal/state special education laws and compliance
- Prior work in urban, multicultural school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Support K-12 (excluding early childhood) with psycho-educational assessments, interventions, and recommendations
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to foster student success
- Consult and facilitate problem-solving processes supporting strong academic and mental health outcomes
- Contribute to MTSS implementation, data-driven decision-making, and special education programs
- Provide crisis support and contribute to a safe, inclusive school climate
