Embark on a rewarding school-based psychology contract role in the vibrant communities near Aurora, Naperville, and Oswego. Multiple elementary and special education settings have an exciting opportunity for passionate School Psychologists to make a difference in the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning in August and extending through May. Flexible scheduling is available, with openings for 3 or 5 days per week; all roles are full-time, on-site positions supporting students and staff during standard school hours.

Opportunities include:

  • A culturally diverse, self-contained elementary environment with just 40-50 students and a strong emphasis on integration (bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued)
  • A bustling elementary school serving a population of approximately 600 students, focusing on counseling, evaluations, and general support with a varied caseload
  • A dedicated special education school for students with moderate to severe needs, combining evaluations and support in a close-knit setting

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Professional certification/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist (state credentials required)
  • Experience with school-based psychological services, including MTSS, problem-solving, crisis response, and student evaluations
  • Previous experience in diverse or special education environments strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus, especially in culturally integrated settings
  • Strong collaborative attitude and flexibility to adapt to different school communities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
  • Provide general psychological support—problem-solving, MTSS involvement, classroom observations, and responding to crisis situations
  • Maintain clear documentation and engage in team-based approaches to support student learning and well-being
  • For certain positions, manage a counseling caseload or deliver support in moderate to severe special education settings
