Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience working as a School Psychologist or in a similar school-based mental health setting
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- School Social Workers with appropriate licensure may also be considered if a School Psychologist is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and special education eligibility meetings
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide consultation to teachers and families to support student learning and development
- Crisis intervention and collaboration on student safety planning, as needed
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and case records
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices
