What you’ll bring:
- Nebraska School Psychologist certification or eligibility
- Experience within an elementary school environment preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to prepare and interpret psychological evaluations
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs or 504 plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Adaptability and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to an onsite role—remote work is not available
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students in need of support
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI), consultation, and at-risk programs
- Offer direct support and counseling for students’ emotional or behavioral challenges
- Provide recommendations and interventions to staff and families
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation per education guidelines
- Advise teachers and staff on classroom management and individualized support
