Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a school psychologist
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary caseloads
- Strong understanding of psychological assessments, behavior interventions, and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in educational psychology
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support educational planning
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Provide individual and group counseling to enhance students’ academic, emotional, and social outcomes
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary problem-solving teams and contribute to IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to ensure student needs are met efficiently
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school district policies
