You’ll handle a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students at the NOVA Center, working alongside a dedicated team to provide crucial support and interventions. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required, or in-process for travelers (license must be secured before start date)
- Demonstrated experience as a School Psychologist or Social Worker in a school setting
- Strong interview skills with the ability to effectively convey your background and skills
- Flexibility and research about relocating, if applying as a traveler (housing, area knowledge, travel logistics)
- Energetic, approachable, and able to build rapport with students and staff
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments and providing interventions for students
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Supporting the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) where appropriate
- Maintaining detailed student records and documentation
- Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
