Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology is required
- Active and valid State of Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement
- At least 2 years of experience in a school-based psychology setting
- Demonstrated commitment to the Core Values of LEARN, with a proven record of fostering each child’s overall success through persistent, intentional support
- Strong knowledge of MTSS, special education, and Section 504 processes and requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support student needs affecting academic and social-emotional learning, ensuring the development and implementation of effective individualized plans
- Consult and collaborate as an active team member on SPED, 504, and MTSS teams, maintaining 90-100% compliance with timelines and services
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students across two K-8 sites
- Prepare and present timely documentation and reports; attend eligibility, annual, and review meetings
- Lead and monitor Tier 3 interventions for MTSS and provide professional guidance to staff and stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive records, confidentiality, and compliance with all regulations and best practices
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and external providers, offering expertise on child development and learning disorders
This in-person contract offers a competitive rate of $85 per hour for 37.5 hours per week.
