School Psychologist | Fairfield, Ohio
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity, making a real difference in the lives of middle school students as a dedicated school psychologist. This role spans two welcoming environments, providing essential support while covering maternity leaves from January through the end of May. With each week, you’ll play a key role in shaping students’ academic, social, and emotional growth in a positive, collaborative setting.
In this position, you’ll work on-site at one middle school at a time—beginning at one campus through late March before transitioning to another nearby school through late May. You’ll become a valued resource on campus, empowering students and teachers alike, with a steady, consistent full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday (7:15 am-2:45 pm).
Qualifications:
- Valid and current OH School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience collaborating with students and staff in a school setting
- Strong report writing, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting campuses while maintaining relationships
- Demonstrated passion for supporting student growth and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Participate actively in intervention and multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop and implement student support strategies and IEPs
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Serve as a consultative partner for teachers and families
- Document and communicate assessment results and recommendations
