Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ growth and educational success as a School Psychologist for K-12 learners. This full-time, on-site contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of May 2027. Based primarily in St. Louis and Jennings, MO, you’ll work closely with schools in the area and likely be assigned to two campuses.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about student advocacy, special education, and evidence-based assessment. As a valued member of the education support team, you’ll focus on conducting special education evaluations, supporting the Child Find process, and collaborating with educators and families to help every student thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience performing special education assessments and familiarity with Child Find processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse school communities
- Ability to manage a steady caseload (average 8-10 cases at a time; around 32 annually)
- Fingerprinting and submission of TCN number to district required before hire
- Completion of required district technology documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students, interpreting data and sharing insights for educational planning
- Participate in student support and IEP meetings as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with other school staff, parents, and service providers to support student outcomes
- Travel between two assigned campuses as needed
