Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough special education evaluations for K-12 students in alignment with Child Find protocols
- Engage closely with students, educators, and families to assess learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Manage an active caseload (typically 8-10 cases at a time), averaging 32 cases per academic year
- Work onsite at assigned schools to deliver direct support and guidance
- Communicate findings and recommendations through clear, well-documented reports
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain up-to-date records and comply with all district and state requirements
- Adhere to district technology and credentialing protocols, including fingerprint verification
Qualifications:
- Current Missouri Department of Education school psychologist certification
- Experience providing psychological evaluations and services in K-12 school settings
- Solid understanding of federal and state special education regulations
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with both students and professional teams
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to documentation and compliance
- Ability to provide compassionate, student-centered services
- Must complete required fingerprinting and technology documentation prior to start
