Key Qualifications:
- Active Missouri Department of Education (MO DOE) School Psychologist certification required
- Demonstrated experience with K-12 student populations in a public school setting
- Proficiency in conducting special education evaluations and supporting Child Find practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Capacity to manage an average caseload of 8-10 cases, completing approximately 32 cases annually in a full-time setting
- Willingness to obtain district-required fingerprint clearance and submit necessary technology paperwork promptly
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and contribute to special education eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to promote student well-being and success
- Deliver both short and long-term support as needed, with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in alignment with district policies
- Adhere to all district and state compliance, confidentiality, and best practice standards
This full-time, on-site role averages 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible start date. The assignment will most likely take place within the Hazelwood sub-district and can be tailored to include part-time or short-term arrangements should your availability vary.
