Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Georgia Educator Certification in School Psychology is required
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and provide counseling services to students of varying age groups
- Willingness and proficiency in maintaining daily service logs and accurate documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available for full-time hours (at least 37.5 hours per week); part-time options may be considered based on availability and district needs
- Onsite presence is required; remote/VOCO candidates cannot be considered
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges
- Participate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate daily service logs and thorough documentation, adhering to district and state guidelines
- Contribute to creating positive, supportive school environments through consultation and training
