Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification required for practice in educational settings
- Experience working across multiple grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify students’ needs and recommend appropriate interventions
- Work closely with school staff and families to create, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students, supporting their overall well-being
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere in classrooms and throughout the school
- Offer expertise in special education processes and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Contribute to school-wide practices that promote positive student outcomes
