About the Position
We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive assessment, consultation, intervention, and student support services within a school-based environment.
Job Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Prepare evaluation reports and communicate findings to families and educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary evaluations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families
- Assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as appropriate
- Monitor student progress and provide data-informed recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Support compliance with IDEA and Texas special education requirements
Requirements
- Graduate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential, or eligibility to obtain the credential
- Completion of an approved school psychology preparation program
- Completion of required supervised internship and field experience
- Knowledge of IDEA, evaluation procedures, eligibility determination, and IEP processes
- Strong assessment, communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
