Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure/certification for School Psychologists (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in psychological and educational assessments
- Ability to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized interventions
- Provide counseling and behavioral support to students as needed
- Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process and facilitate IEP meetings
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and inclusiveness
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication regarding student progress
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention planning as needed
