Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for credentialing as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple schools within the district
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and current special education practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Provide individual and group counseling interventions
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for IEPs and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to design and implement intervention strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring and reporting
- Deliver crisis intervention and preventative support as needed
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families throughout the district
