Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification/license in Texas
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating and supporting students in PreK-12 settings
- Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychological and educational assessments
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to write clear, concise reports and participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary meetings
- Flexibility to support multiple schools, if needed, within the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Provide direct and indirect counseling, intervention, and consultative services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized plans
- Support crisis intervention efforts and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiatives
- Document services and maintain organized records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
