Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist license required
- Recent experience working within a school setting (pediatric focus preferred)
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and special education laws
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt interventions and strategies based on individual student needs
- Passion for supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to support identification of student needs
- Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations to staff and families
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and behavior management plans
- Participate in IEP meetings as an integral team member
- Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding best practices for diverse learners
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation according to district and regulatory standards
