Position 1: Based in Inkster, you’ll support a school serving students with autism, ages 4–26. This role runs from 7:55 AM to 3:06 PM and is available immediately through February 1, 2027. Caseloads are manageable, with fewer than 40 evaluations expected for the year, allowing you to deliver focused and individualized care.
Position 2: Located at two sites in Garden City, you’ll work with elementary (grades 1-2) and high school students, covering caseload overloads. The assignment is scheduled from 8:20 AM to 3:42 PM, starting as soon as possible through June 25, 2027.
What we’re looking for:
- Active licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan (required)
- Experience with autism spectrum disorders and/or diverse student populations is highly valued
- Previous work with elementary, high school, or students aged 4-26 preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Positive, compassionate approach with students and colleagues
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, collaborate on IEPs, and deliver counseling and consultation services
- Help develop intervention and support strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Serve as an advocate for students’ emotional, academic, and behavioral success
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe school environment
These are on-site, W2-contract roles (not itinerant), offering approximately 35 hours per week. Candidates will have access to competitive hourly pay ranging from $50–$56 and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
