Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or equivalent field required
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to school personnel
- Familiarity with data-driven interventions and progress monitoring
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support students through individual and group counseling sessions
- Consult with teachers and staff on behavioral and academic interventions
- Serve as an advocate for students’ mental health and learning needs
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and parent conferences
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
