Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise as a School Psychologist will make an immediate difference for students from early childhood through high school. This full-time opportunity is based onsite and spans the academic calendar from August 20 through June 4, 2027. As a valued support for students, you’ll work with children in PreK through 12th grade, providing vital psychological services in collaboration with a compassionate educational team. Your day-to-day schedule will take place at elementary (8:00am–3:30pm) and secondary (7:00am–2:30pm) campuses.
Desired qualifications:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience working in K–12 educational settings, specifically with PreK-through-transition-aged students
- Strong ability to manage a diverse student caseload (up to 125 school-age and 75 preschool, or a combination within those guidelines)
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with parents, educators, and outside agencies
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and developing individualized support plans
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, assessment, and intervention services to students across grade levels
- Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Deliver consultations and resources to educational staff and families
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance
