School Psychologist | Geneva, Ohio
Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a dynamic educational setting for the 2024-2027 school years. A School Psychologist is needed for a full-time contract role serving PreK through 12th grade students. The position is conveniently located near Geneva, OH, and calls for a dedicated professional committed to helping students succeed both academically and emotionally.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Current State School Psychologist certification or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience working with PreK-12th grade students is highly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and interpreting evaluation data
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 125 school-age and 75 preschool students, or a combination of both within those guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for PreK - transition age students
- Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Deliver direct and consultative services both in the elementary school (8:00 am to 3:30 pm) and the secondary school (7:00 am to 2:30 pm)
- Help promote positive learning environments and student well-being
