Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience conducting assessments and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong knowledge of psychological theory, childhood development, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Proven ability to interpret test results and communicate findings to educators and parents
- Comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds and ages
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services for students, including evaluations, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Administer and interpret a range of assessments to identify educational, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies for student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports across the school community
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
