School Psychologist - Golden, Colorado
Step into a dynamic and rewarding role as a School Psychologist working with students from PreK through 12th grade in the scenic setting of Idaho Springs, CO. This contract opportunity, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the current school year—and continuing into the 2026-2027 school year—offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference across all grade levels.
You’ll enjoy a manageable caseload of 35 students and a convenient four-day workweek (Monday through Thursday), allowing for greater work-life balance. The position starts August 10 and wraps up June 4, giving you the structure and long-term stability you desire.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Colorado School Psychologist license is required
- CDE certification as a School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor preferred
- Proven experience working with diverse student populations in PreK-12 settings
- Strong consultation, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Provide social-emotional support and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
