What You’ll Need to Qualify:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and multi-disciplinary teams
- Prior school-based experience is desirable
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students of varying ages
- Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and administrators to develop effective educational interventions and supports
- Provide direct counseling and social-emotional support services as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and assessments
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: Flexible, as soon as possible
- End Date: Contract runs for the remainder of the school year
- Contracted for 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Caseload: Moderate, serving approximately 40-50 students across K-12 age groups
- You’ll work alongside a supportive team in a collaborative school culture
