Qualifications:
- Current certification and state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
- Deep understanding of psychological evaluation methodologies, interventions, and support strategies
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and outside agencies
- Commitment to ethical practice and professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate student needs and inform educational planning
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans and supports
- Consult with educators and families to foster inclusive learning environments and student engagement
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students as necessary
- Support positive school climate initiatives and advocate for student well-being
- Monitor and document progress, maintaining detailed and confidential records
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute expert guidance on student learning and behavioral strategies
