What you bring:
- Current South Carolina School Psychologist Certification/License (required)
- Demonstrated experience in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments
- Strong understanding of special education processes, compliance, and response-to-intervention (RTI) models
- Sensitivity to student diversity and ability to adapt practices accordingly
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
- Flexibility and responsiveness to shifting schedules and compliance deadlines
- Reliable communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
Your role will include:
- Conducting comprehensive onsite psychoeducational evaluations to inform student support plans
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Providing direct and indirect interventions to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all state and federal educational requirements
- Offering recommendations for classroom strategies and accommodations
