Seven onsite psychologist positions are open for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. These roles offer the chance to collaborate with a dynamic district and contribute toward shaping positive student outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid and active Georgia Educator Certificate in School Psychology
- Experience in K-12 school environments preferred
- Strong ability to adapt to varying caseloads and demographic needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and parent interactions
- Capability to complete daily service documentation and maintain thorough records
- Enthusiasm for onsite work; remote/VOCO candidates will not be considered
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations, consultations, and interventions for students across designated grade levels (age group placements will be considered based on candidate strengths and interests)
- Working closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student support plans
- Maintaining accurate, detailed daily logs in alignment with district requirements
- Providing crisis intervention, assessments, and participating in IEP meetings as needed
- Engaging in team meetings, ongoing training, and continued professional development
Details:
- Full-time, at least 37.5 hours per week; part-time schedules may be considered
- Assignment from August 3, 2026 through May 21, 2027, with possible pre/post planning days
- Placement within the team will be determined through conversation during the interview process, allowing for alignment with your strengths and student needs
- All interviews and candidate consideration will begin once district budgeting is finalized, projected for June–early July 2026
