School Psychologist - Hamilton, OH
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a valued school psychologist in the greater Cincinnati area. You'll be working in-person, servicing a vibrant K-4 building from August through May, playing a key role in helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. With a dedicated caseload of approximately 55 students, your expertise will support both initial evaluations and reevaluations, partnering with educators and families to create positive educational experiences.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist (Ohio credentials required)
- Experience working with elementary-age students, ideally in a school setting
- Familiarity with the evaluation process, report writing, and best practices for K-4 interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including families and staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment
In this role, you will:
- Conduct assessments for both initial and reevaluation cases for K-4 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs and classroom strategies
- Provide short-term counseling or behavior interventions as needed
- Maintain student records and timely documentation in compliance with district standards
