With a manageable caseload of approximately 55 initial and reevaluation cases, you will play a key part in identifying student needs and implementing effective interventions within a collaborative school environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-age students (K-4) preferred
- Knowledge of evaluation procedures and special education eligibility
- Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a caseload with professionalism and empathy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students within the assigned caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and reports aligned with state and district guidelines
- Participate in meetings as a vital member of the student support team
