Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings is preferred
- Strong understanding of assessments, IEP processes, and special education law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with families and staff
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving counseling and behavioral responsibilities as needed
- Comfortable with hybrid scheduling; fully remote work is not an option
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning and success
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in evaluation and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and advise on interventions
- Support data-driven decisions and help create customized support plans for students
- Participate in counseling and behavioral support duties as assigned
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusive, safe, and positive school culture
