Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Deliver targeted counseling sessions to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student needs and share evaluation findings
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer crisis intervention and consult on classroom strategies as needed to promote positive student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current and valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in an elementary school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish meaningful connections with young learners and their support systems
- Commitment to onsite work; hybrid or remote arrangements are not available
