Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavior intervention plans, and counseling in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and case management skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral interventions
- Familiarity with current laws and regulations regarding student services and special education (IDEA, Section 504)
- Comfortable working either onsite at schools or remotely via virtual platforms
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ educational and emotional needs
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to promote student success
- Provide individual and group counseling services to address students’ academic, social, and emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other related service providers
- Consult on the development and review of IEPs, behavioral intervention plans, and 504 plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with regulatory mandates
- Support positive school climate and crisis intervention as needed
