Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychology certification (P-12) is required
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills with school-aged populations
- Knowledge of special education processes, IEP development, and behavioral strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments
- Experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for diverse student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility and IEP sessions
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
- Support positive school climates and promote student well-being
