Key Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina license as a School Psychologist required
- Experience serving elementary, middle, and high school populations preferred
- Background in conducting comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Certified to work within K-12 settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt practices to meet the diverse needs of students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educational teams on eligibility determination, intervention planning, and ongoing case management
- Provide consultation and resources to educators and parents to enhance student support
- Interpret assessment results and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Support development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
