Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school settings, ideally with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education processes, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students across the K-12 spectrum
- Interpret test results and collaborate to determine educational needs and eligibility for services
- Develop and implement intervention plans, monitor student progress, and adjust strategies as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Share caseload responsibilities with another school psychologist, ensuring well-balanced workloads
- Contribute expertise to teams supporting student mental health and behavior, crisis response, and inclusive practices
