Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience providing psychological assessments and behavioral interventions in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education law
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, administrators, and caregivers
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload with empathy and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to support student learning and wellbeing
- Develop, review, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional strategies
- Deliver direct and indirect interventions to students, both individually and in groups
- Offer crisis response and support as needed
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and problem-solving processes
- Maintain student records, document services, and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
