Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid School Psychologist licensure in North Carolina is required
- Certification to work in schools (elementary, middle, or high school level)
- Experience conducting a variety of evaluations and psychoeducational assessments
- Familiarity working with K-12 student populations
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Interpret assessment results to inform eligibility, services, and programming for students
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, counselors, and families, to develop effective learning strategies and interventions
- Participate in special education meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Support crisis intervention, prevention, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance
This full-time opportunity consists of 37.5 hours per week during the school year, allowing you to dedicate focused time to assessments and multifaceted support for students at every developmental stage.
