Schedules typically run either 7:00 am to 3:00 pm or 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, depending on school assignments.
Key Qualifications:
- Nebraska state license as a School Psychologist (required)
- Experience conducting assessments and facilitating identification of students who may require Special Education services
- Proven ability to develop and implement behavior and academic intervention plans
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary and intervention teams
- Familiarity with crisis intervention, and providing support and counseling to students and staff
- Commitment to onsite presence throughout the academic year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Serve as a core member of the school’s Multidisciplinary Team and participate in Building-Based, Safety, or Crisis Teams as needed
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior and academic intervention programs
- Provide school-based counseling services to students in crisis and serve as a valuable resource for staff and families
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to promote a positive learning environment
