Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience working with school-age children (K-12 setting preferred)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility in scheduling 20 hours over 2-3 days per week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments, testing, and evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored intervention plans
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services for students
- Contribute to IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and educational planning
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
- Participate in school panel interviews and fulfill all onboarding requirements, including fingerprint clearance
