Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (DOE Cert) required
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work onsite at assigned campus locations throughout the academic calendar
- Must successfully complete district-required credentialing, including drug screen and fingerprinting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and consultation services
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Maintain detailed reports and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
Role Details:
- Contract position from August 3, 2026 to May 27, 2027
- Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday through Friday, following the school calendar)
- Number of assigned school campuses and specific caseload details to be determined
